The Ferrari 365 Gtb/4 goes down in history as the world's fastest and most powerful production sports car of its time. It was nicknamed Daytona by the media, in memory of Ferrari's historic triple victory at the 1967 24 Hours of Daytona, with the Ferrari 330 P4 prototype driven by Lorenzo Bandini and Chris Amon.
The V12-powered 365 GTB/4 Daytona, designed by Pininfarina's Leonardo Fioravanti, is considered one of the brand's historic masterpieces.
The successor to the Ferrari 250 Gto, 250 California and 275 gtb, the Daytona is, like its predecessors, a front-engined, rear-wheel drive saloon of classic design, in keeping with Enzo Ferrari's vision of sports cars.
It has the modern styling of a very short tail and a very long bonnet, with aluminium doors and bonnet. The bow of the first 530 models (known as "plexi") was encircled by a Perspex band, which housed four fixed headlights profiled under the fairing, and dominated a mouth split by two half-headlights. A second, less sought-after series was produced with retractable headlights for the American market.
Our highly sought-after 1970 model, from the first version, has, in addition to the intrinsic qualities of its configuration, its near-perfect state of preservation: the first Tailor Made Ferrari, an extraordinary story that we'll be sure to tell you about.
This is the real Daytona, an unforgettable story, a dream.
