Triumph race cars

Triumph

Triumph, founded in 1885 in England by Siegfried Bettmann, was first known for its motorbikes before moving into cars in 1921. This historic brand shone in competitions such as rallies and endurance races, where its models such as the Triumph TR3 and Spitfire demonstrated their competitiveness. Triumph particularly distinguished itself in rallying in the 1960s, where it achieved a number of notable successes. An interesting anecdote concerns the Triumph Dolomite Sprint, renowned for its innovative 16-valve engine, which enabled the brand to distinguish itself in touring car competitions during the 1970s, underlining Triumph's ingenuity and sporting spirit.
