historic racing car derived from a Porsche 911 L first series 1965

This car has been in the hands of the same owner since 1968, who, after preparing it to the highest standard (in accordance with the 1971 Appendix J specifications), has used it for many years on the racetrack in historic car competitions, achieving good results in Italy and Europe .

The car is equipped with the following documents: Italian registration document and plates; expired FIA PTH (FIA G2 classification period); valid ACI PTH (FIA G2 classification period); ASI (Auto Moto Club Storico Italiano) certificate; FIVA identity card.

Engine: Carrera 6 type, dual ignition, new Mahle 89x66 pistons and liners, short stroke, 10.6:1 compression, 2465 cc capacity; modified Weber IDF 44 carburettors, Porsche racing 3-in-1 exhausts (diameter 40).
Transmission: 901 5-speed close-ratio gearbox with reverse first gear, aluminium crankcase, removable bracket for rapid gearbox replacement, "Torsen" self-locking differential.
Body: body reinforced with plates and welds to Porsche specification, J-attachment roll-over bar, widened wings (front in fibreglass - rear in steel), front bonnet in fibreglass and Kevlar, front/rear bumpers and doors in fibreglass, side windows, deflectors and rear window in plexiglass, original Porsche 85-litre fuel tank with "Detostop" explosion-proof treatment.
Suspensions: circuit set-up on uniball, reinforced and adjustable torsion/stabiliser bars, adjustable ORAP shock absorbers, possibility of modifying the camber and height of the car.
Brakes: Aeroquip equipment with double pump and brake regulator, oversized and ventilated brake discs, aluminium callipers, Pagid "orange" pads.
Wheels: 8" Fuchs rims at the front with Avon 215/580-15" slick tyres - 9" Minilite rims at the rear with Avon 240/600-15" slick tyres.
Spare parts: extensive stock of original race and production components, including a longer gearbox, 18 rims with tyres, shock absorbers, clutch, self-locking differential and half-shafts.
