The engine was built by Jennings Racing, the most prominent Ford engine builder in the USA. It's been on the dyno twice to find the best combination of headers, carbs, etc. Setup cost of $25k and has roughly 15 hours run time, so it will no doubt be fine before an inspection @ 30 hours.
The car has been raced in HSR, VDCA, VRG and SVRA from 1992 to 2025. Current logbooks present with HSR and VDCA. The car appeared in Bobby Rahal's Legends of Motorsport in 2010 & 2011 (by invitation only), and won two championships in the class (Trans Am/B sedan).
The car has been maintained with no expense spared and campaigned successfully by the current driver/owner for 20+ years, who is retiring from racing. It’s highly competitive, as shown by its results, and ready to be enjoyed by a new owner.
