Raced at Sebring in 1957 by Colin Chapman and Joe Sheppard where it won its class and came in 11th overall. This is the first long door Eleven.
The car retains its original engine (400.7.7014). Joe Sheppard owned it in 57 and raced it with Colin at Sebring where it won its class.
Joe Sheppard lent it to a friend who damaged the front of the car.
A new nose was made by William and Pritchard and part of the front frame was removed and replaced due to damage.
Two owners from new.
It was completely dismantled in the 70's and in a heated garage. Everything is there to complete the car. It is very well known to the historians and Eleven registrars.
