Corliss Race Engineering (CRE) is an established Asia-Pacific motorsport engineering and race operation, CRE subsequently became an important technical partner to Ford Thailand Racing, working with Ford Thailand on the development and preparation of competition Ford Rangers for the Thailand Super Pickup category, the relationship also extended to Ford Mustangs and Marc Mustangs.

The MARC II is a purpose-built race car rather than a modified road-going Mustang. Its combination of carbon bodywork, spaceframe chassis, approximately 600 bhp V8, Albins sequential transaxle, paddle shift, Bosch ABS, traction control and Öhlins suspension creates a package that is extremely fast while remaining comparatively forgiving and enjoyable to drive.
The MARC platform has competed internationally at major endurance events and circuits including Bathurst, Dubai, Spa, Barcelona and Circuit of the Americas, as well as extensively throughout Asia.
This particular car is described by CRE as being very smooth to drive with significant power, making it suitable for experienced gentleman drivers as well as professional competition use.
