I first built the engine in 1983 installed in a 1973 911 race chassis ,campaigned by the owner and guest drivers Dennis Aase and Parelli Jones Jr.In the Anchorage Alaska Grand Prix.Modifications included, shuffle pinning Align boring , deep head case inserts, piston oil squirters, bored and decked for 92 mm Mahle P&C,Carrillo connection rods ,RSR intermediate shaft with all light weight gears,Ollie’s in Anaheim Ca. Preformed all the machine work. The case and RSR stuff came from Dennis Aase. All rotating components balance.crank micro, polished. New Webber 46s carbs choked and jetted.PMO tall manifolds were used.1972 heads installed all new intake and exhaust valves as well as valve guides performing a three-way valve cut.port matched to 43mm intake,41mm exhaust,Webb S cams , The engine removed in 1989 and sold. I found and bought the engine in 2020,been sitting since1989.2024 I decided to go thru engine and make improvements. Total rebuild, checking all specifications. replacing all bearings, gaskets and seals.updated the cylinders to Nikki’s, LN made the heads twin plug.
