MAZDA

Mazda, founded in 1920 in Hiroshima, Japan, has distinguished itself in the world of motorsports through its unique approach and innovative spirit. The brand has shone in a variety of disciplines, including the 24 Hours of Le Mans, where in 1991 it became the first (and to date, only) Japanese manufacturer to win with the 787B, famous for its rotary engine. Mazda has also made its presence felt in rallying, IMSA and the world touring car series. A fascinating anecdote is Mazda's development of the rotary engine, which, despite its rarity, proved its potential in competition, underlining the brand's commitment to innovation and performance.
