Volkswagen, founded on May 28, 1937, has extended its influence far beyond the production of consumer vehicles to make its mark on the world of motorsport. The brand has distinguished itself in a variety of disciplines, including rallying with the famous Polo R WRC, rallycross, and endurance events. Its commitment to motorsport underlines its quest for performance and reliability. Volkswagen also shone at the Dakar Rally, demonstrating the robustness of its vehicles in extreme conditions.
