Shadow Racing Cars
Shadow Racing Cars was a British-American racing team and constructor founded in 1968 by Don Nichols. Starting in Can-Am, Shadow moved to Formula One in 1973, becoming known for its innovative car designs and distinctive black livery. The team saw success with drivers like Tom Pryce and Alan Jones, winning their only F1 race in 1977. Due to financial struggles and staff departures to form Arrows, Shadow ceased operations in 1980 but remains remembered for its impact on motorsport engineering.
