Toyota saloon race cars

TOYOTA

Founded in 1937 by Kiichiro Toyoda, Toyota has become a global brand, synonymous with reliability and innovation. In motor sport, Toyota has made its mark in a variety of competitions, from Formula 1 to WRC rallies, as well as endurance races such as the 24 Hours of Le Mans, which it has won on several occasions. The brand is also known for its participation in the NASCAR championship and the Super GT series in Japan. A lesser-known fact is that Toyota developed the TS010 endurance prototype in the 1990s, which laid the foundations for its future hybrid racing cars, illustrating its commitment to environmentally-friendly technologies even in top-level competition.
