Rondel Racing
Rondel Racing was a British racing team founded in 1971 by Ron Dennis and Neil Trundle, both former Brabham mechanics. Initially competing in Formula Two, Rondel built its own cars, like the Motul M1, with backing from Motul. The team achieved success in the early 1970s, including victories in the European Formula Two Championship. However, financial difficulties, including the 1973 oil crisis and loss of sponsorship, led to its closure in 1974. Rondel laid the foundation for future ventures by Ron Dennis, including his leadership of McLaren.
