Alpina road cars

Alpina

Alpina, founded in 1965 by Burkard Bovensiepen, has established itself as a benchmark brand in the modification of BMW cars, offering enhanced performance on both road and track. Although best known for its high-performance versions of BMW production models, Alpina has also made its mark in competition, notably in touring and endurance racing. Alpina vehicles are distinguished by their balance between luxury, sportiness and everyday use. Little-known anecdote? Alpina began by producing a Weber carburetor kit for the BMW 1500, a project that laid the foundations of its reputation for improving engine performance.
