Innocenti rally cars

innocenti

Innocenti, founded in 1931 by Ferdinando Innocenti in Milan, Italy, was first known for its steel constructions before moving into automobiles after the Second World War. Although most famous for its Lambretta scooters and British Leyland-licensed compact cars such as the Mini, Innocenti also flirted with motorsport. Innocenti vehicles, notably the sporty versions of the Mini, took part in rallies and hill climbs, demonstrating their competitiveness despite their small size. A fascinating anecdote is that the brand has retained a touch of Italian elegance in its designs, even for its competition models, combining performance and style in a unique way.
