ISUZU

Isuzu, founded in Japan in 1916, is world-renowned for its commercial vehicles and robust diesel engines. Although primarily associated with trucks and commercial vehicles, Isuzu has also made its mark in motorsport. The brand has distinguished itself in competitions such as the Paris-Dakar rally, where its off-road vehicles have demonstrated endurance and reliability in extreme conditions. Isuzu has also taken part in prototype races and rally events in Japan. A surprising anecdote is that Isuzu collaborated with Lotus in the 1990s to develop the Isuzu Piazza, a car that combined sporting performance with advanced technology, reflecting the brand's innovative spirit even outside its traditional field.
