VOLVO

Volvo, established on 14 April 1927 in Gothenburg, Sweden, is renowned for its robust and safe cars, but it has also made its mark in motorsport. The brand has made a name for itself in rallying and touring car championships, where its advanced engineering and focus on performance have come to the fore. Notably, the Volvo 240 Turbo dominated the circuits in the 1980s, surprising its rivals with its competitiveness. A fascinating curiosity is that the Volvo 850 Estate, despite its family estate silhouette, competed in the British Touring Car Championship, proving that Volvo can combine practicality with a competitive spirit.
