Surtees

The Surtees brand, founded in 1970 by Formula 1 and motorcycling champion John Surtees, is unique in motorsport history for having been created by an athlete with titles in two different disciplines. Specializing in Formula 1, Surtees also made its presence felt in Formula 2 and Formula 5000, developing competitive cars that enabled the brand to distinguish itself on international circuits. Although Surtees didn't win a Formula 1 championship as a manufacturer, its commitment to innovation and performance left a lasting imprint. An interesting anecdote is that John Surtees remains the only driver to have won world championships on both two and four wheels, underlining his unique expertise that has influenced his brand's philosophy.
