Modus historic race cars

Modus

Modus was a British constructor founded in 1973 by Teddy Savory in Norfolk. Initially a racing team, it became a manufacturer after designer Jo Marquart joined from GRD. The company produced single-seaters for F3, F2, F5000, Formula Atlantic, Super Vee, and Renault, with Formula 1 as its ultimate ambition. Despite some strong results from drivers like Tony Brise, Eddie Cheever, and Danny Sullivan, Modus went bankrupt in 1976, ending its short but promising journey.
