ISO historic race cars

ISO

ISO, founded in 1939 by Renzo Rivolta in Italy, is renowned for its unique contributions to the world of sports cars and competition. Although best known for its elegant GT cars and microcars in the 50s and 60s, ISO also made its mark with the Grifo, a sports car that made a number of high-profile appearances in competition. ISO distinguished itself in endurance races and GT events, demonstrating Italian performance and design. A little-known anecdote is that the brand also played a role in the birth of the legendary BMW Isetta, having designed and produced the ISO Isetta, which was then licensed to BMW, indirectly contributing to the popularity of this iconic model.
