Datsun historic race cars

Datsun

Datsun, a brand launched by Nissan in 1931, has forged a reputation in motorsport for its reliable, high-performance cars. Present in a variety of disciplines, Datsun has shone in rallying, endurance racing and production competitions. Models such as the 240Z have gained worldwide renown for their victories, particularly in Safari rallies. Datsun was able to combine accessible technology with top-level performance, making motorsport more affordable. An interesting anecdote is that the 240Z, also known as the Fairlady in Japan, was one of the first Japanese cars to achieve international success in competition, establishing Datsun as a major player on the world motorsport scene.
