Lada hillclimb cars

Lada

Lada, the emblematic Russian brand founded in 1966 under the name VAZ (Volzhsky Avtomobilny Zavod), has made a name for itself in motorsport despite its image as a rugged, utilitarian car. It has distinguished itself in disciplines such as rallying, with notable participations in the Dakar Rally and in national and European rally championships. Lada vehicles, particularly the Niva and Samara, have demonstrated their durability and competitiveness in extreme conditions. An interesting anecdote is that the Lada Niva, originally conceived as an off-road vehicle, has become a cult figure in the world of rallying, proving that performance and simplicity can go hand in hand.
