Formcar race cars

Formcar

FORMCAR was an American racing car manufacturer founded in Florida in 1962 by George Smith and Bill Duckworth. The company played an important role in the early development of Formula Vee, building simple and affordable single-seaters based on Volkswagen mechanical components. Some Formcars were also used in Europe, particularly in Germany, where Porsche quickly took an interest in this entry-level racing formula. Today, these cars are regarded as iconic historic models from the early days of Formula Vee.
