Centaur Engineering
Centaur Engineering is a British constructor founded in the early 1960s by Richard Scott, initially based in Halesworth, Suffolk, and later in Sheffield. The company built a range of race cars for F750, F1200, F1300, Clubman, Formula 3, and Formula Ford, with the first model, the Centaur Mk1, debuting in 1962. Later designs were developed in collaboration with David Childs, and Centaur also ventured into unique projects such as a Spedeworth Midget racer and a kart. Even today, several Centaur cars continue to compete successfully in historic events organized by the 750 Motor Club.
