BMW 328iE36 Tracktool Ringtool Racing car DMSB car pass

As we are reorganising our fleet, we are selling our reliable BMW 328i E36 racing car. We have driven it very successfully in the BMW Challenge, the Classic Masters and even endurance races in the DMV NES500, where we have finished third in class once and runner-up in our class twice in the last three years. The vehicle is fully developed and very reliable. The main emphasis was placed on performance and correspondingly good and expensive technology was installed.
The following conversions were carried out:
- Engine conversion from 325i to 328i in July 2022 (the engine was overhauled by Panther-Motorsport with invoice, now has a real 215-220 hp and significantly more torque due to the larger displacement)
- The last major overhaul was carried out by TAP Fabian Tillmann before the start of the 2024 season and only ran for one racing season. The car has not yet been raced in 2025
- Conversion to larger water cooler
- Large thermostat-controlled electric fan plus additional switch from the cockpit
- Conversion to single-mass flywheel racing version

- Sliding roof cassette removed and replaced by GRP attachment
- Lightweight GRP boot lid with quick-release spring fasteners without spoiler
- Standard boot lid with spring quick-release fasteners with spoiler
- Aero-Catch quick-release fasteners in GRP bonnet with ventilation slots
- GRP front mudguards
- GRP doors left and right
- Large Porsche 996 / Brembo front brake discs
- Larger ventilated BMW 330i brake discs at the rear
- Suspensions completely PU-mounted
- Rear axle welding points reinforced
- Additional ventilation ducts for the left and right front brakes
- Aluminium front underbody protection
- OMP steering wheel with additional switch plate
- Extinguishing system according to DMSB guidelines
- Mechanical emergency stop system in accordance with DMSB guidelines
- Conversion of windscreen wipers to 2 wiper blades and wiper fluid
- Towing loops front and rear

- Spare parts package with replacement gearbox, cardan shaft, drive shafts etc. can be purchased in addition
- Passenger seat and AIM Laptimer system are not included in the price!
I'm sure I've forgotten a few things, but in general I've mentioned the most important modifications. The car has a DMSB car pass. After the weight reduction with the GRP parts, the car is no longer covered in film and visually not a show car, but it is proven to be fast and has a lot of good and expensive technology in it. In the first pictures you can see the car still fully wrapped before the weight reduction with GRP was carried out. There is still potential for further weight reduction by converting to Makrolon windows.
The car has accompanied us faithfully for many years and we would like it to come into good hands who will optimise the car with love and lead it to further successes.
The car is immediately ready to drive. However, a test drive is not possible as it is not road legal!
