Mitsubishi Pajero EVO 3.5 MIVEC Dakar Ralliart – Year 1997

Competed in the Dakar Classic twice: 2021 and 2022.

Vehicle fully rebuilt for the 2022 Dakar. 7,400 km covered and in storage ever since.

Engine overhauled by LORRTEC: 6 new pistons, crankshaft and bearings replaced, cylinder heads resurfaced, all 6 cylinders rebored, camshafts replaced.

New timing system, new water pump, new oil pump, complete new clutch assembly (release bearing, diaphragm clutch and clutch disc).

New high-capacity radiator, new oil cooler.

ECU replaced with a MOTEC unit.

Power bench test carried out at LORRTEC: engine output 330 ch.

Gearbox completely overhauled at MARREL ET PELIN: gears, bearings, etc.

New front and rear axles, new bearings and gears, new reinforced MARREL ET PELIN drive shafts, new MARREL ET PELIN-treated tie rod ends, new Lobros.

Replacement of all ball joints, control arms, etc.

8 Öhlins shock absorbers refurbished by Öhlins.

New wheel bearings.

New AP Racing brake discs, calipers and pads.

Complete bodywork overhaul, including body and chassis, with full interior and exterior repainting prior to the 2022 Dakar Rally.

Interior equipment: 1 automatic fire extinguisher with 3 compartments, 2 new FIA 2021 bucket seats, 2 new FIA 2021 harnesses, 1 new 170 L FIA 2021 fuel tank, high-lift jack, sand plates, straps, compressor, 2 Cibié LED long-range lights, 2 spare wheels in the vehicle + 4 complete wheels stored alongside.

Total cost of refurbishment: €151,000 excluding VAT (supported by invoices).

Option to sell the vehicle with an additional batch of parts: refurbished spare front and rear axles, various drive shafts, bellows, wheel bearings, ball joints, control arms, new brake pads, new Lobros, new clutch, 4 reconditioned crankshafts (LORRTEC) ready for fitting, 2 new pistons, CRISARTECH speed control unit purchased in 2021, new spare rear wishbone + suspension arm.
