FORD ESCORT BDH 1300 Gr.2 Replica

Historic racing car derived from a 1968 Ford Escort MK1 940 De Luxe.
This car is, for all intents and purposes, BRAND NEW, having undergone a complete restoration and transformation/preparation to the highest standard in the Ford Escort 1300 Gr.2 racing model; this work lasted 5 years, after which the car was only driven 50 km.
The car is fitted with a registration certificate and black Italian plates.
Body: restored to like-new condition with Burton Power components and reinforcements, enlarged sheet steel wings, J-anchor to be fitted, oversized aluminium fuel tank.
Engine: Ford BDH 16-valve - dry sump - Kugelfischer pump - Wilcox crankshaft.
Transmission: ZF 5-speed close-ratio gearbox with reverse first gear, aluminium crankcase, Atlas axle with ZF self-locking differential, large half-shafts.
Suspensions: Uniball suspension, Watt's parallelogram, struts, reinforced and adjustable torsion bars, adjustable Bilstein shock absorbers, possibility of varying the car's camber and height.
Brakes: AP Lockeed callipers, Aeroquip circuit with dual pump and brake balancer, self-ventilated oversized brake discs.
Wheels: 8 x 15" Minilite rims.
Spare parts: new block and cylinder head (for a larger-capacity engine if required), "English" axle, stock of small spare parts.
