Bmw Z3 M Coupé Gt 5000 V8

This is a unique car, chassis LVC001, featuring a tubular spaceframe built by the renowned chassis specialist Matterin 1998. It is fitted with a carbon-fibre body inspired by the silhouette of the BMW Z3 M, powered by a BMW 5.0-litre V8 engine producing approximately 500 hp, developed for endurance racing.

The car competed for four seasons in the Belgian BELCAR Championship with car number 16 (see racing history).

The front suspension is fully adjustable through 360°. Thanks to its flat floor with rear diffuser, the rear suspension is mounted inside the chassis and integrated into the spaceframe. The car is also equipped with a quick-fill racing fuel tank.

Engine management is handled by a British-built DTA engine control unit (ECU) featuring 15 selectable settings. The car runs on 18-inch centre-lock wheels and is equipped with Stack instrumentation.
