Shelsley Special V8 two stroke engined Prosport 3000 from 1990

Retirement forces the sale of Prosport 3000, chassis number 0001, fitted with a 3.6-litre Evinrude V8 driving a CVT transmission.

The engine uses 8 Mikuni diaphragm carburettors and M&M ignition.

Included are a spare engine (disassembled), 4 spare wheels and a full set of springs, weights, etc., to tune the CVT.

The engine produces 350 hp and 375 lb-ft of torque at 6,500 rpm.

Fitted with 2 expansion chambers, with a noise level of 108 dB, passing the static noise test.

Currently fitted with soft-compound slick tyres for hillclimbing.
