The Porsche 964 RS is regarded as one of the most coveted driver’s cars of the 1990s – uncompromisingly lightweight, puristic, and focused entirely on dynamics. The even rarer Porsche 964 RSR stands as a motorsport icon and enjoys cult status among collectors today. The car offered here, originally delivered as a 964 RS, was professionally converted to full RSR specification already in the late 1990s: featuring a 3.9-liter RSR engine, FIA homologation, extensive racing history, and a well-documented provenance across Germany, Sweden, and Norway. Thus, it combines the authenticity of an original RS with the performance and exclusivity of an RSR. The Porsche 964 RS was actively campaigned in Sweden by Stenborg Bilsport AB from the late 1990s, competing in the GTR class, as evidenced by FIA/SBF homologation papers and photographs showing the car with starting number 64 in circuit racing. After its sale to Norway in 2005/2006, the car was issued an NBF Vognlisens and took part in national GT races and club events. Regular technical inspections along with substantial workshop invoices from Porsche Center Sonand Auto TechSport confirm its continuous racing activity well into the 2010s. More recently, the engine was rebuilt at Stig’s Garage in Sweden and enlarged to 3.9 liters, further enhancing the performance and uniqueness of this car. Altogether, the Porsche comes with a fully traceable and well-documented racing history across two Scandinavian countries.

This vehicle is ideally suited for historic racing classes and presents itself as an immediately usable, authentically documented Porsche 964 RS RSR conversion.
