Compared to the standard Gallardo Superleggera, the Super Troféo, destined to compete for the single-brand cup bearing its name, was equipped with the same slightly more powerful 5.2-litre V10, a lowered suspension, specific brakes and, inside, a stripped interior, adapted to the competition and safety rules dictated by the FIA.

This is one of the rare SuperTrofeo still in its original version we are offering here: bought new by a "gentleman-driver" who had used it only slightly and only for circuit driving, it belongs since 2011 to the XP Developpement structure of the professional Racing driver Xavier Pompidou ( vice-world champion title in Karting before finishing twice second in his category (LMP1 and LMP2) at the 24 Hours of Le Mans and won with Marc Lieb the «Le Mans Series», among other results.

The car has never been used in competitions and has only been used for runs and demonstrations.
Between 2023 and 2024, without considering the hours of work spent, it underwent an overall restoration with complete dismantling of the mechanics, and on this occasion received a new gearbox that has less than 300 kms now.
