1982 + 1983 Honda Accords

These second-generation Honda Accords are rare. It would not take much work to get both of them driving well, whether for daily or just seasonal use. Most of the standard parts are still easy to source, and they are fuel efficient and cheap to run.

The Savoy brown sedan (1982) was originally sold in Quebec but was not winter-driven. It has the 1600 cc EL1 engine and five-speed manual, and recently had a new clutch installed. It runs and drives OK, but the carburetor struggles in the wet or cold. As would be expected for its age, some of the clear coat has peeled and there is some minor, surface rust damage, but the underside is clean and the undercoating is intact. It has 240,000 km.

The silver 1982 sedan is an original BC car. It has a three speed Hondamatic and the 1600cc EL1 engine. I purchased it in January 2022 (with 92,000 km) and drove it daily for over three years (it now has 125,000kms). The original plan was to make it a restomod tuner. It shows some visible rust damage and has some holes in the underside. The engine needs new valves but is otherwise in good condition. The original plan was to restore both cars but life has gotten in the way! The cars are being sold as a package, which also includes an extensive inventory of parts, some of which are aftermarket. Both cars are located in the Fraser Valley area of British Columbia.

Price: $6,000CAD (4,250USD) for both cars. Any extra costs for transportation etc will be at the buyers' expense.
