STRacing (Franck Albertella) - Sport Technik Racing
I've had a passion for racing and mechanics from an early age, and it was in the 1990s that I was lucky enough to join the Sauber Mercedes team, where I did my apprenticeship in motor racing.
From 1996 to 2000, I entered several Mercedes 190 production and DTM cars in the French championship, including one with which I won the championship in 1999, winning several times during those four years.
From 2000 onwards, I began to take an interest in Porsche racing, entering 911s in Porsche clubs and a 996 GT3 in GT series with several wins and a runner-up title.
With a passion for mechanics, I invested in high-performance engine development equipment. It wasn't long before I was enjoying great success and achieving results that lived up to my expectations in Porsche clubs, including several titles in the Roscar semi-endurance race.
In 2007, I entered two Porsche 996 Cup cars in the Dubai 24 Hours. Out of 83 cars at the start, they finished 11th and 22nd overall.
After several years of victories in Porsche clubs, in 2009 I entered a 997 Cup in the prestigious Carrera Cup France championship under the number 911 with Christophe Lapièrre. We repeatedly scored podiums in Group B.
In 2009, I got interested in a small English brand, GINETTA, which fascinated me because of its history and design. I ordered my first car, a G50. Unfortunately, this brand and the qualities of this car were not recognised in France until 2014, with numerous victories and several titles in the GT4 category.
Passion being my main driving force, I'm constantly developing these cars to give the best on the races.
