The Ford GT40 is a Le Mans winning icon, with endless historical significance and a considerable cult of myth and personality surrounding the achievement of among others Carrol Shelby and Ken Miles who propelled the GT40 project to huge success and 4 consecutive Le Mans victories. Unsurprisingly as a result a GT40 is an entirely impossible proposition for but a very select few. Enter Peter and Greg Bailey, who since 2003 have been building tributes true to the GT40 with some quality-of-life modifications that make these cars excellent for historic racing and even road use.
