Brabham BT23c-15

The car was built for a collaboration between Frank Williams and Jual Manuel Fangio for the 1968 Temporada Series in Argentina.

The project was sponsored by La Razon newspaper in Buenos Aries and driven by Georges Caperio, Carlos Reuteman and other Argentine drivers.

The car it seems remained in Argentina and was not run after about 1970, until it was pulled out of a Buenos Aries work shop in 1989 and purchased by Philip Harris.

Philip restored the car faithfully to period and has raced it consistently in North America since 1991.

BT23- was imported to Australia in time for the Tasman Revival at Sydney Motorsports Park in 2012 and has competed locally since.
BT23c-15 has a current Historic Technical Passport and Log Book issued by Motorsport Australia. Additionally, there are Log Books issued by USA entities HSR & SVRA.

The FVA engine has a new Geoff Richardson cylinder head with Cosworth DFV running gear. It was serviced at the last rebuild after ten hours running, and currently has under two hours running time.
The gearbox was also serviced at the last rebuild.
It has ATL FIA custom fuel cells inserted in the original alloy tanks.
Just a couple of examples of the care the car has received though its maintenance schedule.
Photographic and paperwork history is extensive of the restoration and running history.

Spare parts are too numerous to list here, but the car comes with an extensive package. Other parts are by negotiation.
A custom-built enclosed trailer is available by negotiation. This was completed in 2016 and designed to carry the Brabham.

Brabham BT23c-15 is ready to go. I have been its custodian for thirty-four plus years. The car has given me immense pleasure both on and off the track (no I have never put a mark on it) and believe it is time to move it to a new caretaker and driver.

Asking $230,000 AUD. Make a SENSBLE offer, that we can discuss.
