AUTOBIANCHI

Autobianchi, founded in 1955 through the union of Bianchi, Fiat and Pirelli, made a name for itself with models such as the Autobianchi A112, appreciated for its urban handling. Although the brand is better known for its compact cars, the A112 found its way into rallying, becoming a popular choice among small-displacement competitors. This small but valiant car has proved its worth on rally courses, demonstrating that performance is not measured by size or power alone. A captivating anecdote is that the A112 was the proving ground for the Fiat 500, sharing many of the innovations that were incorporated into this iconic model, underlining Autobianchi's enduring influence on automotive design and engineering.
