1987 Renault 4L Savane for sale

I am reluctantly selling this 1987 Renault 4L in the Savane trim.

The car has just returned from the 4L Trophy without ever having had any problems.
The chassis was rebuilt in 2024 when I bought the car (photographic evidence available); the side members, cross members and floor pan were all replaced.

The engine was completely overhauled, as was the gearbox (invoices available), a year ago.
I have most of the car’s service history.

I have always carried out the car’s routine maintenance myself (brakes, oil changes, etc.). For more extensive work, professionals have taken care of it (engine and chassis refurbishment), with invoices to prove it.

The car is ideal for being prepared to head back into the desert, or it could be fully restored to make it a really nice ‘youngtimer’ for weekend drives.

It will have passed its MOT before sale.
Two spare wheels will be included with the car, as well as the one currently fitted underneath the car. The tyres on the two additional wheels are new (invoices available). In addition, I am providing numerous spare parts purchased in preparation for the 4L Trophy (air filter, cylinder head gasket, engine and gearbox mounts, alternator belt, 28 IF carburettor for parts, etc.).

Given the work carried out on the car, the price is justified. It is, however, open to negotiation, provided this remains within reasonable limits.
