Renault Megane RS TRACKTOOL

Renault Megane 3 RS CUP -Tracktool- . Year of construction 5/2014 with only 48,000 KM.

History:

The vehicle was purchased by me in October 2019 with 28,000 KM from Renault AH. The previous owner was an elderly gentleman (1958) who had purchased the vehicle as a 2nd car and only drove it in good weather (always with sense and reason). The vehicle was built up as a track tool in 2020 with great attention to detail and only the best components and has only been driven on 8 track days to date. The circuit kilometres amount to approx. 1500. The remaining kilometres were pure road use (exclusively medium/long distance).

Maintenance:

It goes without saying that the vehicle has a full service history and has been meticulously maintained in a specialised sports car workshop (WTM-Sportwagen Gießen) according to factory specifications since day one. From day one, only the workshop manager has worked on the vehicle there and also carried out all the "minor" modifications. The installation of the Wiechers full cage, RSC chassis and seats was carried out by Elmar Fahrbach (AH Fahrbach).

Conversions:

Wiechers full cage, RSC competition suspension, Recaro pole position, CAE shifter, INJEN intake, Wagner intercooler, steel-flex brake lines, catless downpipe (Waldwow Performance), 200-cell Euro5 sports catalytic converter, reinforced gearbox mount (AH Kirfel), strut brace, 19-inch OZ-Racing "Renault Formula 1, 17-inch Pro-Track rims.

During the conversions (especially engine, downpipe, KAT, AGA) the focus was always on durability and service life in order to reduce the thermal load on the engine as much as possible, NOT on increasing performance. After installation, the engine was therefore merely adapted to the new circumstances (more intake air, less exhaust back pressure). This was done at AH Kirfel in Adenau. There, only the Renault series maps were adjusted while driving. NO Chiptunning !!!

The boot offers space for the second set of wheels including tools (jack, etc.) Therefore, you can easily take the second set of wheels to the trackday and change them on the track, depending on the weather conditions. The suspension is fantastic and can be adjusted in 12 stages (simply by clicking) on the track. The car is very fast, especially with semis at operating temperature, incredible cornering speeds are possible on the track!
