When Aston Martin unveiled the DB7 at the 1993 Geneva Motor Show, David Brown’s initials had not appeared on a radiator grille for twenty-three years. Designed by Ian Callum and developed by TWR under Ford’s leadership, it combined British elegance with, at last, a serious approach to mass production. In 1999, the Jaguar six-cylinder engine was replaced by the 420 chevaux Cosworth V12.

Our example is finished in British Racing Green, with a matching soft top. The interior combines fawn-coloured leather on the seats and door panels with green on the dashboard and carpet, alongside burl walnut on the centre console, gear knob and trim strips.

Delivered in France in March 2001, it has now clocked up 56,636 km and comes with a full service history, the majority of which is from Aston Martin Bordeaux. In July 2020, at 53,034 km, it underwent a full service: engine and differential oils, coolant, brake fluid, oil and air filters, accessory belt and its idler pulley, replacement of the front shock absorber mount bushings, and air conditioning recharge. In September 2022, the lambda sensors were checked with no fault codes in the memory, and two new Pirelli P Zero tyres (265/35 R18) were fitted.

This example is in superb condition, both externally and in the interior, and the V12 runs perfectly. The electric soft top and its mechanism operate without the slightest hesitation.

A service and a full polish will be carried out prior to sale.
