With wider wings, a completely redesigned bonnet and a rear hatch fitted with a spoiler, this is the Lancia Delta integrale in its extreme 'Evoluzione' version.

The wheel arches have been increased by 54 mm at the front and 60 mm at the rear, and the engine now develops almost 210 bhp at 5,750 rpm! This was the miracle recipe that enabled Lancia to win the World Rally Championship in 1992 and set an unprecedented record of 10 victories in the event.

As you will have noticed, the version presented here has been slightly improved, as it is a Group A conversion, while retaining all the original features and parts, including the period-accurate 'Martini Racing' livery with the following special features:

Chassis preparation :

Fully MIG-welded body and rear axle support
ABARTH Group A roll bar
ABARTH Group A front axle with 32mm diameter factory stabiliser bar (Team ASTRA)
Rear axle with all ABARTH Group A reinforcements and custom-made ball joints made in Switzerland
Brembo front/rear maxi homologation series brakes with avia. hoses
Group A hydraulic handbrake with rear pressure limiter
EIBACH front/rear suspension springs and 4 overhauled R-Tec Pro-flex 2-way shock absorbers
ATL 60L FIA-approved fuel tank
The entire electrical wiring system has been overhauled
76mm exhaust system with stainless-steel side tailpipe, like the latest factory versions

Engine preparation :

Completely rebuilt engine (running-in just completed)
WOSSNER forged pistons with 86 mm bore
Cylinder head gasket with rings, Group A assembly
New turbo equipped with a balanced 360° side clearance stop - pressure >1.48 bar
Balanced crankshaft
Removal of belt and balance shafts
New starter and alternator
New camshafts (CAT CAMS) with maximum lift and set according to manufacturer's procedure
16 new valves
Adjustable camshaft pulleys (new valve train)
Engine power obtained with a 34 mm turbo inlet flange (rally regulations)

Sybele challenger 4+ new
High voltage wiring and spark plugs NGK Racing
BOSCH semi-static coil
Sybele ignition amplifier
Throttle potentiometer, air and water sensors, TDC sensor, absolute pressure sensor
ECU controls the fan-motor assembly (SPAL)
New TDC sensor target
Engine water injection with pressure > 1.18
Controlled boost
Engine maps (stored on USB key).

Engine periphery :

New water radiator and GMV (SPAL) as well as new water pump and silicone hoses.
Air/air intercooler (competition harness) set back to Group A position with cooling from 0.5 Bar
Engine water injection from 1.1 Bar

Advanced optics for mounting the Group A airbox
Direct and rigid turbo air intake
Compliant oil vapour recovery tank
