Porsche 911 993 3.8 Carrera SuperCup
Race cars • Historic Race Car • PORSCHE • For sale • France • Paris
A genuine Carrera SuperCup, matching numbers, fully restored in 2004, with a crash-free chassis. This car was originally sold in Switzerland, raced in France and boasts an impressive list of achievements. It competed in the Porsche Cup from 1995 to 1998, in the GT FFSA C2 class in 1999 and 2000, and was champion in the Club Europa C2 class in 2005, 2006 and 2007.
Its engine was tuned by a renowned ‘wizard’ in Switzerland, Ofzky Performance, who was a celebrated tuner of air-cooled flat-six engines. Originally rated at 310 ch, our example produces 340 ch on the dynamometer. Surprisingly, the engine is the original one, which is rare and shows that the car has been well driven and well maintained. It was repainted in 2004 in its original Indian Red livery, having previously featured various sponsor liveries (yellow, orange/blue, white/blue). The car comes with two large binders detailing its history: from invoices to race reports, photos of races and the restoration, and other press articles covering its racing career.
