Here is a great part of the Al Unser racing family heritage. The Unser’s are known primarily for their Indy 500 success. The family has achieved a record ‘nine’ victories at Indy! The drivers being Al Sr, Al Jr and Bobby. Throughout the family’s racing years, many types of cars were being driven to victory!
This Frissbee is the chassis of Al Unser, Jr. A restored and ‘no-expense-spared’ Center-Seat Can-Am car. Absolutely loved at the track, our owner always has giveaways for the spectators! This is a very fast chassis, a podium winning Frissbee! Also driven in period by Geoff Brabham and Jacques Villeneuve.
The car was restored completely by the previous owner, and has been kept in top tier condition. This sale includes spares, including a completely painted and wrapped second brand new nose piece, a $30,000 value. A fresh DG300 was fitted a few years ago by Scott Young, a top tier craftsman. Also, body moulds are included. All paperwork and complete history. This is just an amazing part of the racing community, available now!
