This Crosslé 7S was one of the first sports cars produced by John Crosslé.
Built in 1965, this 7S was one of 2 supplied to the Irish SUPERTUNE team in Dublin.
Driven by Jim Cooney, the cars took part in their first race on the Solitude circuit near Stuttgart.
The Crosslé factory finished the chassis at the last minute, forcing Jim to drive to Stuttgart from London !!!!!
A long career took this 7S to the GOODWOOD track in 1966 at Montlhéry Coupe de Paris 09/1965.
In 2006 Arnie Black, owner of Crosslé Compagnie, bought the wrecked car from Mr Maltuse and rebuilt it entirely as it was originally.
He has taken part in many historic races, including the GOODWOOD Revival.
The current owner carried out a major overhaul of the engine and gearbox, and in 2025 took part in the GOODWOOD Revival and the last ASAVE event at the Le Castellet circuit, winning the proto class and finishing second overall in qualifying.
The car is sold with a PTH valid until 2027 and all the archives justifying the authenticity of the vehicle.
