1978 Chevron B46 Formula Atlantic for sale.
Now available! Here is a unique chassis, accepted everywhere. Originally produced by the Chevron Factory, here is the 1978 Chevron B46. Owned by an original Chevron Factory driver, and Chevron Importer. I am a huge fan of this gentleman, both personally and for his career! Ed Swart has driven so many historic and significant race cars. We have his B46 listing as of today. This is in Atlantic trim, a wonderful chassis. It was not raced as original when the factory sold this car to an East Coast USA buyer. The B46 was purchased by Ed in 2005 and raced from 2006 to 2021. Very low race count, only having been raced 29 total times including the ‘Monterey Historics’.
A very strong Atlantic with the Ford Cosworth BDA, 230hp with 4 hours and an FT200 with Koni shocks. The B46 was built with the ‘F2’ suspension of the B42, and with an F3 tub. A very solid chassis. Logbook and paperwork included.
Spares are an extra nose, set of wheels and gear sets.
This is a great car for the Historic Formula Atlantic Series.
