Overview: For sale is a highly unique, period-correct modified 1984 Peugeot 205 GTI 1.6. Purchased by the current owner in July 1985 at 11,220 km, this car features an extensive, fully documented history of high-quality period modifications. It has always been parked under a garage.

Period Modifications & History:

July 1985 (12,183 km): Fitted with a 125 hp kit, which includes a large valve cylinder head, complete exhaust system, oil cooler, and strut braces.

September 1985: Fitted with a polyester ITS body kit and finished in a complete pearl white paint job.

November 1985: Equipped with highly desirable 3-piece GOTTI alloy wheels (7x15 Alpine GT, 4-hole).

November 1986 (58,099 km): RUGGERI preparation. This included lowering the chassis with front/rear shocks and short springs, reinforced front pivots with offset, and specific engine tuning.

June 1987 (73,224 km): Complete engine rebuild following a broken connecting rod. Replaced parts included the clutch, oil pump, starter, engine mounts, crankshaft, connecting rods, and bearings. Note: The engine has only covered 19,097 km since this complete rebuild.

Storage & Recent Recommissioning:

Storage History: Put into garage storage. Brought out of storage on May 16, 2019, at 92,321 km, transported by Garage Lemonier on a flatbed.
