Covered trailer

Covered trailer, custom built on the chassis of a 1983 Dethleffs caravan. Used for 13 years to transport my HF3 car once or twice a year. Because of the low weight (430 kg) it tows like a feather and never gave any problems with lurching or rocking up. The single axle layout makes it easy to be pushed and pulled around by hand in the paddock by a single person. Due to the limited payload of 670 kg it's suitable for transporting light vehicles like single seaters or similar.

Waterproof wooden floor made of textured coated boards. Equipped with a tire rack, electric winch with remote control, long heavy duty aluminium ramps (300 x 25 cm) and external storage box on the drawbar. 100 kph permit, german papers and TÜV (MOT) valid until August 2025.

Exterior size: total length 619 cm, length of body approx. 468 cm, width of body approx. 200 cm, total height approx. 218 cm.
Interior size: useable length 430 cm (without winch 461 cm), useable width approx. 187 cm (if ramps are carried inside the trailer: 178 cm), interior height approx. 163 cm.

13 years in my ownership, only selling because giving up racing. Always stored in a dry barn. Old but practical and in good running order. Reasonably priced. Located in southern Germany. More information and photos on request. Private sale, no warranty, no product liability.
