Seat Leon DSG Dq250 Remote Oil Cooler Kit

Our new DSG oil cooler kit for the dq250 DSG transmission is a direct replacement for the factory oil to water heat exchange unit and converts to a front mount oil to air cooler.

This setup has many benefits over the standard exchange. The first being it separates the gearbox oil from the engine cooling system. In the event of the standard cooler failing, the transmission can be filled with engine coolant killing the gearbox and the engine cooling system can be filled with trans fluid in return - with the remote cooler kit this is no longer possible.

As well as the fail safe benefits, the front mount oil to air cooler offers superior cooling of the trans in race or track conditions and is the most effective way to solve the dreaded "transmission over heat" issue often suffered by the dq250 when being driven hard for prolonged periods.

Burnt and dirty oil is the no.1 reason for dq250 and mechatronic unit failures, but with our upgraded race cooler kit, oil temps stay comfortably in the working range lap after lap!
