An exceptional vehicle with only 9000 km, specially prepared for the 1997 Monte Carlo Rally. This project was led by Mr Jacob Abbou, President of Automobile Magazine, to commemorate the 30th anniversary of the last Mini to win the Monte Carlo Rally in 1967.
2 factory cars were prepared by Coventry automotive in England for the occasion. 1 red, commissioned by Rover France and offered for sale. The second, blue, was commissioned by Rover Japan. Only the red n°223 finished the rally.
It remained in its rally configuration, finishing 2nd in class in Group N. Eligible for the historic category. It is equipped with a roll bar, 2 bucket seats, trip master, circuit breaker, etc.
