Ex-Martin Brundle Toyota Celica 2.0GT FIA Grp. 1 HTP

We are proud to offer for sale this restored Toyota Celica, built and raced by Martin, Robin and John Brundle in the 1980 and 1981 24 hr Willhire races. Both years it won the prestigious Commanders Cup.

Now restored and built to FIA Group 1 regulations with a full HTP until 2033. It also comes with a very expensive and comprehensive spares package, all included.

We have carried out a comprehensive restoration, with a full bare shell upwards build. The whole process has been extensively documented with photographs, invoices and chronological summary sheets describing all the work carried out. It was of the upmost importance for the cars provenance, to pay close attention to preserving it’s racing history and patina. This was made possible by a bare metal respray to it’s original metallic factory black, but also keeping period repairs as part of the cars history.

The car boasts a full and rich race history and truly paints a picture of where this car has been, what it has done and in who's hands, with cuttings and features from race wins, as well as the hugely significant number of invoices and paperwork relating to the restoration.
