First sports car built in winter 1952/3 on MK1 chassis.

Built by Cth Wakefield

Raced in the GOODWOOD 9hrs in August 1953 with John COOMBS and Tommy SOPWITH

Crashed on an oil patch at St Mary's, chassis replaced by Bob GERRARDS

Sold to Hon Edward GREENHALL in 1954 (Photo at MIRA 1955)

Raced successfully in the UK

Sold to Roy WIAKTEMAA in 1956 who raced at Goodwood and then sent the car to the USA to race at SCCA Buckley (Aurora), La junta, Continental Divide and Laguna Seca in October 1959.

Stephen Langton brought the car back to the UK in 1975 and had it rebuilt as a MK1 T20 F2 Gar by Barry Simpson (letter from John Cooper confirming this).
