Cobra Daytona Coupe for sale, its unpainted filed aluminium body and the carb/ignition needs some tuning (ca 40-50 hours of work for an experienced engine builder), it's got a street engine which hasn't been started yet so cam needs to be run in properly.

Built as a Race car for the street and occasional track day according to original drawings and specs, can easily be upgraded to full FIA race spec with period correct driveline if one wishes to do so.

These cars sell for around 350k Euros once finished with proper FIA HTP papers.



Specs: Engine is Ford SB 289" C6 casting nr on block/modern alu cylinder heads with 2.02/1.60 valves and ca 320 hp, brand new forged Eagle rods and KB forged pistons, aggressive camshaft hydr roller, Edelbrock 650 carb on alu manifold, stock sump, Ford Toploader (4 speed manual) with the alu bellhousing mated to a newly built Jaguar LSD diff (3.54 ratio) with brand new crownwheel & pinion and all bearings, driveshafts and propshaft also installed, Koni replica shocks. Engine needs tuning of ignition and the carb as well, newly built, it lacks a flywheel, clutch and starter.

Complete Shelby suspension from the same supplier as SHELBY uses, Girling CR Race brakes and Trigo rims running Dunlop Vintage race tires, Stewart warner classic series instruments, all lights installed, partial brake lines and fuel system including 2 Facet pumps with AN6 line to engine installed with large fuel tank ca 100 L incl fuel level sensor, all parts are brand new.

The car has a full roll cage. It has 2 alu seats which have to be taken to the upholsterer to finish them.

An additional race kit can be sold with the car to convert it to FULL RIA RACE spec according to appendix K for FIA Historical racing consisting of a new Salisbury diff with the correct Cobra housing, race spec brand new T10 gearbox incl prop shaft, fully adjustable a-arms, period correct Cobra intake manifold and a set of Weber IDA 48 carbs.

Sold as a project, the buyer needs to finish the electrical/brake system and sort out the driveline, priced to sell. Bloody cheap! First come, first served.
